What Is the Purpose Behind Grove’s Veranda?

Surrounded by concrete and steel structures, we aspired to build a place for people to unwind from their busy, cosmopolitan lives. We noticed a group of stand-alone pillars and decided to connect them by inserting wooden windows in the center, creating a false exterior.

To enhance the outdoor feel, we placed various plant pots and boxes, allowing diners to enjoy a touch of nature while remaining connected to the city. The faux exterior serves as a veranda. We drew inspiration from the quaint charm of European streets of cobblestones, pathways, and streetlamp lanterns. Throughout the restaurant, all the metal window frames were enveloped in wooden panels, contributing to a cozy and rustic atmosphere.

Menus tend to get damaged and torn really fast. Adding a wooden frame to our menu made it more durable and long-lasting.
An inviting, airy space with panoramic windows sets the ambience for the Grove Bistro.
