An in-depth look at how ideas become experiences. Our case studies unpack the inspirations, processes, and details behind each project, offering a window into the thinking that shapes our design approach.
Surrounded by concrete and steel structures, we aspired to build a place for people to unwind from their busy, cosmopolitan lives. We noticed a group of stand-alone pillars and decided to connect them by inserting wooden windows in the center, creating a false exterior.
To enhance the outdoor feel, we placed various plant pots and boxes, allowing diners to enjoy a touch of nature while remaining connected to the city. The faux exterior serves as a veranda. We drew inspiration from the quaint charm of European streets of cobblestones, pathways, and streetlamp lanterns. Throughout the restaurant, all the metal window frames were enveloped in wooden panels, contributing to a cozy and rustic atmosphere.
