A Tranquil Nook Amidst Concrete

Grove Bistro was conceived as an oasis within Dhaka’s fast-paced cityscape. The ambition was to craft a space where people could pause, breathe, and reconnect with a sense of calm. Natural inspiration guided every decision, from the palette to the textures, allowing the bistro to feel like a refreshing escape in the midst of concrete.

Color played a defining role in shaping Grove’s identity. Deep teal columns, soft wooden textures, and earthy shades extend across the walls, beams, and furniture. This careful palette evokes warmth and serenity while creating harmony with natural light streaming through panoramic windows.

Timeline-

We also introduced a veranda to expand the sense of outdoor connection. Inspired by European street charm, we reimagined a cluster of pillars with wooden window frames and planters. This created a false exterior where diners could enjoy greenery, cobblestone-like textures, and lantern-like fixtures while still being nestled inside. The result is a bistro that feels both intimate and expansive. Grove’s design invites guests to step away from the city’s bustle and enter a space where natural hues, textures, and storytelling converge.
